In hospitality environments, guests like to receive a wakeup call in the morning. The PBX can do this automatically without the intervention of the hotel front desk.

Programming the Wakeup Call

Programming the wakeup call from the web interface is easy. Just log into the web interface and set the wakeup call in a 24 hour format and hit the save button. To clear the wakeup call, clear the setting.

In order to program the wakeup call from the phone, the extension needs to dial the code for the wakeup call ("*62" by default). The administrator can also assign a code that does not use star code in the beginning.

After connecting the call, the user may enter the wakeup time in a 24 hour format. A time before 10 AM can be entered by starting with a "0". The system also accepts times between 3 and 9 AM without the leading zero. If the current time is higher than the entered value, the system will call back on the next day. Pressing the "*" key will clear the wakeup.

Receiving the Wakeup Call

When the wakeup time has been reached, the system will call the extension. The calling may be delayed a few seconds if many extensions request the same wakeup time. When the user picks the call up, the PBX will clear the wakeup time. If the user presses "1" the PBX will automatically call again in five minutes.
